About Thunder's Run Inc.
Founded by Ruth Mattingley in the spring of 2000, Thunder's Run Inc. became the first dog walking and pet sitting business in the Bradford area. Ruth's love and respect for animals was abundant and evidently clear. The love and professionalism she had helped provide people with a warmth and trust, knowing that their dogs and cats were being well taken care of by someone who cared deeply for them. With business growing rapidly through word-of-mouth, the Thunder's Run family also needed to grow; eventually including Ruth's husband Doug, her daughter Brooke, and her son Ric.

In the fall of 2018, Ric and his wife Meredith took over the family business, keeping the priorities and values in line with what Ruth had established over years and years of work with animals. The focus has always been on the wellbeing of people's furry family members, and that same connection continues today.

Starting in Bradford West Gwillimbury, Thunder's Run Inc. has expanded over the years, and now currently also walks dogs, and visits cats and small animals in Holland Landing, East Gwillimbury​ and Guelph.
